Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our engineering team in Indore. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on live projects, gaining practical exposure to design, development, and testing processes in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, model, and simulate mechanical components and assemblies using Autodesk Fusion 360
- Support prototyping, assembly, and testing of mechanical components and systems
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, SOPs, and design specifications
- Assist with procurement activities — sourcing vendors, raising purchase requests, and coordinating with suppliers for parts and materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design reviews and technical documentation
- Conduct basic analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Maintain accurate records of test results, designs, and project progress
- Support day-to-day engineering and production activities as required
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant fields
- Strong expertise in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or any other CAD tool
- Experience in product design (preferably in healthcare or robotics) is a plus
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work on-site
