Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. This is a hands-on opportunity to work on live projects, gaining practical exposure to design, development, and testing processes in a fast-paced engineering environment. The role offers a 6-month duration with a potential Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) for eligible candidates.
Responsibilities
- Design, model, and simulate mechanical components and assemblies using Autodesk Fusion 360
- Support prototyping, assembly, and testing of mechanical components and systems
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, SOPs, and design specifications
- Assist with procurement activities including sourcing vendors and coordinating with suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on design reviews
- Conduct basic analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical systems
- Maintain accurate records of test results and project progress
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant fields
- Strong expertise in CAD tools
- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn, take initiative, and work on-site
