Software Engineer - Test

Role Overview

We are looking for a driven SDET-1 with 2–3 years of experience to help us deliver a flawless watch experience across our Android and iOS apps. You'll own quality end-to-end — from understanding requirements and designing test strategies, to building automation, validating analytics and payment flows, and championing quality across cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute test plans, test cases, and regression suites for Android and iOS apps.
• Build and enhance mobile automation frameworks using Java/Python + Appium.
• Perform API testing (REST APIs, authentication, payloads, and status codes).
• Validate analytics and event tracking using tools like Charles Proxy.
• Test critical user journeys including ads, payments, in-app purchases, coin economy, and content unlocks.
• Perform SQL-based database validation to ensure data integrity.
• Identify, track, and drive defects through resolution.
• Improve automation, test coverage, and CI/CD quality practices.
• Collaborate with Product, Android, iOS, and Backend teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline testing and boost efficiency.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in Manual & Automation Testing for Android and iOS applications.
• Strong coding skills in Java or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Swift + XCUITest, Kotlin + Espresso, or Python + PyTest.
• Experience with API testing (Postman, Charles Proxy) and SQL/database validation.
• Good understanding of CI/CD workflows (GitHub Actions/Jenkins/GitLab CI) and Git.
