About the Job

The intern will work across frontend, backend, and database layers to automate manual workflows (approvals, data entry, reconciliation, data sync, invoice-cost matching, and notifications) currently handled manually in both systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Build Angular UI components for RMS One and PBERP, focused on automating manual steps
• Support backend development in FastAPI/Rust for automated cost & revenue workflows
• Assist with MSSQL-to-PostgreSQL migration and automated data sync scripts
• Study existing legacy code to understand current manual processes before automating
• Document workflows and participate in code reviews

Required Skills

• Frontend: Basic to intermediate Angular/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3 (academic/hackathon or personal project experience acceptable)
• Backend: Exposure to Python (FastAPI) and/or Rust;
• Database: Working knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL and/or MSSQL); Python scripting for data tasks
• General: Git/version control, strong problem-solving aptitude, ability to read and understand existing (legacy) code
• Mindset: Interest in process automation — identifying manual/repetitive steps and building systems to eliminate them

Good to Have

• Exposure to SQLAlchemy or any ORM
• Familiarity with REST API design
• Basic understanding of ETL/data sync concepts
• Basic Angular/TypeScript, HTML/CSS
• Exposure to Python (FastAPI) and/or willingness to learn Rust
• Working knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MSSQL)
• Git, strong problem-solving mindset, interest in process automation
