QA Tester

Role Overview

At Restroworks, as a QA Engineer, you are primarily responsible for reviewing quality specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Other tasks include developing and running new tests, reporting on the results and collaborating with software developers to fix program issues.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test scenarios, test plans, and test cases
• Estimate, prioritise, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Perform testing for web-based and mobile applications
• Use bug-tracking tools like Bugzilla, Jira, and Zoho
• Develop test plans, test strategies, and test cases based on project scope
• Define test objectives, test scenarios, and success criteria
• Verify bug fixes and ensure quality improvements before production deployment

Requirements

• 2-5 years of experience in Manual Testing / Quality Assurance
• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and defect management processes
• Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications
• Experience with bug-tracking and project management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or Zoho
• Good understanding of test case design techniques and testing methodologies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent documentation and reporting abilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
