Junior Web Developer

Role Overview

Preyfox Technology is looking for a skilled Junior Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of WordPress core, themes, plugins, and best practices for performance, security, and SEO.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop WordPress websites using themes and plugins.
• Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build responsive and user-friendly web pages.
• Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO.
• Ensure website security and perform regular backups.
• Troubleshoot and fix website issues and bugs.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams.
• Keep websites updated with the latest WordPress versions and features.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Strong knowledge of WordPress CMS.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with theme and plugin customization.
• Understanding of MySQL and database management.
• Familiarity with SEO and website optimization.
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, and Gutenberg.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Freshers or candidates with experience in WooCommerce are welcome.
• Knowledge of REST APIs.
• Familiarity with hosting environments and cPanel.
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles.
