We are seeking an AI Developer with strong software development skills and expertise in Anthropic Claude to manage and enhance our in-house platform, TradieJet. The ideal candidate will ensure timely AI-powered responses, assist tradies across New Zealand, and continuously improve the application’s performance and functionality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage AI-powered conversations and ensure prompt, accurate responses to client enquiries.
• Support and assist tradies across New Zealand through the TradieJet platform.
• Monitor customer interactions and take appropriate actions to resolve issues efficiently.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance AI features within the application.
• Build and maintain integrations with Claude APIs and other third-party services.
• Troubleshoot application issues, fix bugs, and implement new features.
• Optimize prompts and AI workflows to improve response quality and user satisfaction.
• Work closely with the product and engineering teams to deliver platform enhancements.
• Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.

Required Skills

• Strong software development experience in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Anthropic Claude APIs and prompt engineering.
• Experience with REST APIs, backend development, and databases.
