Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated QA Engineer to perform end-to-end testing of IoT and embedded devices. This role involves validating device behavior, data accuracy, and the seamless integration between hardware, backend systems, and mobile or web applications.
Responsibilities
- Perform end-to-end testing of IoT/embedded devices, including device behavior, data accuracy, and reliability
- Validate device, backend, and mobile/web app data flow and integrations
- Test mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web platforms for functionality, usability, and performance
- Design and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
- Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA
- Conduct API testing and validate real-time data communication
- Perform regression, functional, and system testing
- Work closely with firmware, hardware, and software teams to troubleshoot issues
- Participate in field testing and simulate real-world usage conditions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant technical fields
- 2+ years of experience in QA / Testing (IoT / Devices preferred)
- Hands-on experience testing connected devices or embedded systems
- Experience in mobile app testing (Android/iOS) and web application testing
- Good understanding of APIs, client-server architecture, and data validation
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as Bluetooth, WiFi, MQTT, and HTTP
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA or ClickUp
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Exposure to automation testing (Selenium/Appium) is a plus
