Embedded Software Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an Embedded Software Engineer responsible for the design, development, production, testing, and maintenance of embedded systems. This role involves the full software development lifecycle, from understanding and analyzing requirements to design documentation, integration, debugging, and release management. The successful candidate will also mentor junior engineers and develop technical specifications while ensuring hardware conformance to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain embedded systems.
• Analyze software requirements and create comprehensive documentation.
• Perform software integration, debugging, and test case design.
• Manage software validation, release, and configuration management.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Develop technical specifications and analyze hardware configuration and processing solutions.
• Test hardware conformance to specifications.
• Perform coding and testing tasks according to industry and team standards.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of systems-level C programming.
• Experience developing in C or C++ within real-time embedded systems.
• Familiarity with requirements tracking and software test/validation tools.
• Knowledge of peripheral buses such as I2C and SPI.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-motivated and persistent professional.
