Node.js Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and driven Node.js Developer to join our engineering team. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and project stakeholders, to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL to design and manage application data.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues while optimizing application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality and application reliability.
• Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, tools, and development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 0–1 year of experience in Node.js development (Freshers with relevant projects or internships are encouraged to apply).
• Good understanding of JavaScript (ES6+) and Node.js fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Express.js and RESTful API development.
• Basic knowledge of MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Exposure to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals.
• Knowledge of Agile development practices is an added advantage.
