Node js developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Node.js Developer with strong server-side development expertise and hands-on experience with Apache Kafka. The candidate should have experience developing scalable backend applications, REST APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable server-side applications using Node.js
• Develop and maintain REST APIs and backend microservices
• Build and maintain Kafka-based event-driven services
• Integrate backend applications with databases and third-party APIs
• Develop secure, reusable, and maintainable backend components
• Optimize applications for performance, reliability, and scalability
• Implement authentication and authorization using JWT / OAuth
• Troubleshoot production and server-side application issues
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions
• Collaborate with Frontend, DevOps, QA, and other development teams

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience
• Strong experience in Node.js
• Strong Server-Side / Backend Development experience
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka (Producers, Consumers, Topics, Partitions, Consumer Groups)
• Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript
• Experience with REST API Development and Microservices Architecture
• Experience with Event-Driven Architecture
• Experience with Express.js / NestJS
• Experience with SQL / NoSQL Databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis)
