Role Overview

As a software engineer intern, you will design and develop software for Qualcomm’s mobile chipsets based on cutting-edge technology. You will work on diverse areas including Multimedia Technologies, Wireless Modem Technologies, Platform Level SW, and IOT Technologies across locations in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, or Noida.

Responsibilities

• Development of real-time embedded software and device drivers
• Mobile SW development for Android, Windows Mobile, or Linux
• Multimedia software stack, firmware, and driver development
• Wireless Modem and connectivity software and firmware development
• Communication protocol stack software development
• Kernel, BSP, and Device Driver development
• Application SW and UI development
• SW Architecture for embedded devices

Requirements

• Pursuing Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science Engineering, Communication Engineering, or ECE
• Good understanding of OS concepts and Data structures
• Knowledge of C/C++ and object-oriented design
• Familiarity with wireless network standards such as CDMA/GSM/UMTS/LTE
• Understanding of protocols such as TCP/UDP/IP/SIP/RTP
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate and work in teams with good communication skills
