Software Engineer I (P1)

Role Overview

Join the iQ AI team as a Junior–Intermediate Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build, and scale modern web applications and AI-driven products. You will collaborate with product managers, AI engineers, and senior developers to integrate AI capabilities into real-world healthcare workflows and scalable full-stack systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain full-stack features for AI-powered healthcare applications
• Develop modern frontend interfaces using React or Next.js
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js or Python
• Integrate AI and data-driven features into product workflows
• Work with cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP, or Azure to deploy and scale applications
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in code reviews
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to improve system performance and security

Requirements

• 0-2 years of professional software engineering experience
• Experience building full-stack web applications
• Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React
• Experience building REST APIs or backend services
• Familiarity with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Understanding of Git and testing practices

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI/ML integrations or LLM-based applications
• Experience with Python for backend or data processing
• Familiarity with AWS or Docker
• Exposure to healthcare EHR systems or regulated environments
• Experience with microservices or event-driven architectures
