Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, validate, and visualize structured and unstructured data using Python and SQL.
- Apply statistical analysis, hypothesis testing, and exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns and define business metrics.
- Design, build, test, and optimize machine learning models including regression and neural networks.
- Develop scalable, efficient, and reliable AI-powered applications in Python.
- Support should-costing and design-to-cost analysis for new and legacy products.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product Sourcing, and Operations teams during NPI, RFI, and RFQ phases.
- Drive strategic projects involving process optimization and Lean-oriented automation.
- Present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders and support tool deployment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Practical exposure to developing AI-powered applications with Python and knowledge of mechanical products.
- Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, and Keras.
- Strong SQL skills and knowledge of databases like SQL Server or MongoDB.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes (stamping, machining, casting, etc.) is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge in should-costing, design-to-cost analysis, and statistical data analysis.
