Cloud Devops Engineer

Role Overview

Quest Global is seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of DevOps concepts and supporting infrastructure. You will be responsible for implementing and managing cloud infrastructure, automating processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust and efficient CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts and configurations using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud systems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implement hands on proof of concepts aimed towards automation and improvement of the platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, operations, and security teams.
• Utilize containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
• Set up monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
• Participate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve production issues efficiently.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in the field of Software Engineering.
• Proven work experience as a Cloud DevOps or similar role with at least 3 years of experience on AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Excellent knowledge of AWS services and offerings.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Experience with setup, administration and operations of Kubernetes based infrastructure.
• Knowledge of monitoring solutions.
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal).
