Java Developer

Role Overview

Quest Global is an engineering services provider with over 25 years of experience. We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our Agile Development team to design, develop, and debug high-quality web applications focused on performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions within an Agile Development team.
• Design, develop, and debug web applications ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.
• Deploy solutions to Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Create documentation related to design and development.
• Participate in peer code and design reviews to ensure quality and mitigate technical risks.
• Collaborate with the quality team to create and review test plans and test cases.
• Estimate development timelines and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Requirements

• B.E. / MCS / MSc (Computer Science) / B-Tech / M-Tech degree.
• 4 to 5 years of total work experience in Java.
• Strong knowledge of Java 8+ features.
• At least 3 years of experience with SpringBoot.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services and API development.
• Familiarity with databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Maven or Gradle.
• Familiarity with Redis.
• Strong knowledge of Hibernate / JPA.
• Understanding of micro-services architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Azure DevOps, or JIRA.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
