Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 8 years of experience in defining, executing, and analyzing performance testing initiatives across various applications.
Responsibilities
- Define performance test strategy for various application types.
- Execute various types of testing including Load, Stress, Soak, and Spike testing.
- Integrate performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Perform bottleneck identification and detailed reporting.
- Validate against defined SLA/SLO metrics.
- Manage environment and test data setup for performance tests.
- Define and establish performance baselines.
- Collaborate closely with Development and DevOps teams on performance fix verification.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Performance & Load testing.
- Expertise in Web & API testing methodologies.
- Experience with Industrial application testing is a plus.
- Strong background in Test strategy & reporting.
- Experience with CI/CD integration for performance testing.
- Proficiency in Bottleneck analysis and Scalability & Stress testing.
- Familiarity with tools such as JMeter, Gatling, k6, or Locust.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, InfluxDB, or Prometheus.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or similar platforms is preferred.
