Mobile Application Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Application Developer with 4–6 years of hands-on experience in developing and delivering mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. The candidate should have strong expertise in Kotlin-based Android development, good exposure to iOS application development, and working knowledge of React / React Native for cross-platform mobile application development.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Develop native Android applications using Kotlin and Android development frameworks.
• Contribute to iOS application development and integration using relevant Apple development technologies.
• Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile features using React Native / React, where required.
• Build new mobile applications from requirement analysis through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
• Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, backend services, databases, authentication systems, and third-party SDKs.
• Implement reusable, scalable, and maintainable mobile application architecture.
• Optimize applications for performance, responsiveness, battery consumption, and device compatibility.
• Identify and resolve application defects, crashes, performance bottlenecks, and compatibility issues.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, backend developers, QA teams, product teams, and other stakeholders.
• Follow coding standards, version-control practices, code-review processes, and secure development guidelines.
• Support application deployment and release management through Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of mobile application development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Kotlin and native Android development.
• Good understanding of the Android SDK, Android Studio, application lifecycle, activities, fragments, services, notifications, and background processing.
• Experience developing or supporting iOS applications.
• Knowledge of Swift, Xcode, iOS SDK, Cocoa Touch, or related iOS technologies is preferred.
• Experience or good working knowledge of React / React Native.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, API integration, and authentication mechanisms.
• Experience with mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, MVC, MVP, or Clean Architecture.
• Knowledge of local data storage and databases such as SQLite, Room, Core Data, or equivalent technologies.
• Experience with Git and source-code management.

• Familiarity with automated testing, unit testing, and UI testing frameworks.
• Experience working in Agile / Scrum development environments.
