Mechanical Design & Automation Intern

We are looking for a passionate Mechanical Design & Digital Engineering Intern to join our engineering team. You will work on the design and development of advanced mechanical systems, manufacturing equipment, and automated production solutions while gaining hands-on experience in product development, digital engineering, and engineering automation. This role is ideal for students who are eager to apply their engineering knowledge to solve real-world industrial challenges.

Responsibilities

Develop 3D CAD models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings

Design mechanical systems, manufacturing equipment, fixtures, tooling, and production workstations.

Support the development of automated engineering and digital design workflows.

Collaborate with design and analysis engineers to improve engineering workflows and product development processes.

Evaluate modern engineering software and automation tools to improve engineering productivity.

Qualifications

CAD Modelling (Parts, Assemblies, Drawings).

Basic understanding of CAD-based simulation or Finite Element Analysis

Basic programming knowledge (Python, similar) is an added advantage.

Interest in engineering automation, robotics, manufacturing systems, or computational engineering.

Familiarity with CAD automation, scripting, parametric modelling, or engineering APIs is a plus.

Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
