Backend Python Developer

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Backend Python Developer to join our founding engineering team.

You'll build scalable backend services, design APIs, develop AI-powered capabilities, and help architect systems that will power the next generation .

What You'll Do

• Build scalable backend applications using Python.
• Design and develop production-grade REST APIs.
• Build and deploy AI/ML-powered backend features.
• Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
• Design efficient database schemas and optimize queries.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
• Collaborate directly with founders on product and technical decisions.
• Help define backend architecture and engineering best practices.

Required Skills

• 3–6 years of Backend Python development experience.
• Strong experience building production-ready backend systems.
• Minimum 6 months of hands-on AI/ML feature development.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices.
• Excellent knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms.
• Strong SQL and/or NoSQL database experience.
• Experience working in B2C product companies or startups.
• Experience integrating third-party services and APIs.

Preferred Experience

• Agentic AI or LLM-based application development.
• FinTech domain experience.
