Role Overview

Intellicar is seeking a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic IoT solutions team in Bangalore. This is a hands-on technical role perfect for engineers who thrive in fast-paced startup environments. You will work at the foundational level of embedded systems development, focusing on substance and technical expertise in an atmosphere where innovation and adaptability are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software solutions for IoT controllers using C programming
• Implement communication protocols for embedded systems
• Work on bare-metal programming and register-level implementations
• Handle high-pressure deliverables with quick turnaround times
• Adapt to changing requirements and rewrite code as needed

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in embedded software
• Deep understanding of C programming fundamentals, including bit manipulation and 32-bit operations
• Practical experience with Embedded C and memory management
• Knowledge of variable scope and storage classes
• Ability to work in a high-pressure startup environment with an immediate to 30-day notice period

Nice to Have

• Experience with CAN, SPI, I2C, or UART protocols
• Basic knowledge of Data Structures such as Linked Lists, Stacks, and Queues
• Experience with Arduino or similar development boards
• Hardware interfacing skills like LED programming
