Role Overview
RecMaf is partnering with Abhiyantr Robotics to find their next Electronics Engineering Intern. This is an on-site role in Bengaluru with a direct path to a founding engineering position. Abhiyantr Robotics, founded by IIT Delhi alumni, builds snake-like robots and motorized assistive exoskeletons. The intern will help design, build, test, and troubleshoot the electronics and firmware that make these robots move with precision, focusing on closed-loop motor control.
Responsibilities
- Develop and test closed-loop motor control (FOC, BLDC, PID) for precise positioning
- Write and debug embedded firmware on STM32 / ESP32 microcontrollers
- Work with encoders, sensors, and motor drivers for real-time motion control
- Support schematic design, component selection, and basic PCB work
- Bring up, test, and troubleshoot electronic circuits and systems on the bench
- Document designs, test procedures, and results
Requirements
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics / Electrical / ECE or related
- Hands-on experience with Embedded C/C++ and microcontrollers (STM32 / ESP32 / Arduino)
- Understanding of motor control (FOC / BLDC / PID) and/or closed-loop control concepts
- Familiarity with communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN
- Comfortable with oscilloscopes, multimeters, and hardware debugging
- Project or internship experience in motor control, robotics, or embedded systems is a strong plus
Skills
- STM32
- Embedded C/C++
- Motor Control
- PCB Design
- UART/SPI/I2C
Benefits
- Stipend of Rs. 50,000-70,000 per month
- 3-month on-site internship in Bengaluru
- Real ownership of hard problems on robots that ship
- A clear path to Founding Electronics Engineer for the right person
- Mentorship from experienced engineers
