UI/UX Designer with Coding Knowledge (Node.js / Express.js)

Role Overview

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with hands-on coding knowledge in Node.js and Express.js. The ideal candidate should be strong in UI/UX design and also have a basic-to-intermediate understanding of backend development to collaborate effectively with development teams and contribute to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design user-friendly and visually appealing web and mobile interfaces.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity UI designs.
• Convert UI/UX designs into functional interfaces with developers.
• Understand and work with Node.js and Express.js for basic backend integration and API-related tasks.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Conduct basic usability testing and improve designs based on feedback.
• Maintain consistency in design systems, components, typography, and layouts.
• Understand REST APIs and how frontend applications communicate with backend services.

Requirements

• 1.5–2 years of professional experience in UI/UX Design.
• Strong knowledge of Figma and other UI/UX design tools.
• Good understanding of user experience, responsive design, and design principles.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Hands-on or working knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
• Ability to work closely with developers and understand technical requirements.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
