Role Overview
A DevOps Engineer bridges the gap between software development and IT operations. They are responsible for building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines, provisioning infrastructure through code, managing cloud resources, and ensuring system scalability, security, and performance.
Responsibilities
- CI/CD Management: Design and maintain continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate code testing and deployment.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Cloud Platform Management: Monitor and optimize scalable cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Monitoring & Observability: Configure logging, alerting, and system health metrics using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack.
- Security & Compliance: Implement security best practices (DevSecOps), automated compliance checks, and secure code deployment.
- Collaboration: Act as a liaison between development, testing, and operations teams to streamline workflows and reduce occurrences of errors.
Requirements
Pay: ₹398,968.03 - ₹1,618,511.63 per year
