Technical Support Engineer

Role Overview

Provide uninterrupted 24x7 on-site operational and technical support for all deployed KIOSKs at Delhi Airport to ensure system availability meets or exceeds the committed 99% SLA. The role involves handling both L1 and L2 responsibilities, including monitoring, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and coordination with backend teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous monitoring of kiosk hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Execute first-level diagnosis, recovery, and operational health checks.
• Conduct preventive maintenance including cleaning of PP Scanners, FP Scanners, and touch screens.
• Manage peripheral devices such as biometric readers, card dispensers, and printers.
• Log incidents in ticketing systems and escalate unresolved cases to L3 support.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting of OS, application, or middleware issues.
• Support OS updates, application patches, and configuration changes.
• Validate local Database sync, background services, and network connectivity via Ping and Traceroute.
• Conduct preliminary Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring faults.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work in a 24x7 on-site environment at Delhi Airport.
• Strong communication skills for liaising with airport operations staff.
• Willingness to work on a 5-month contract basis.
