Software Developer - Android

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience to join our mobile engineering team. The ideal candidate has a strong command of Kotlin, a solid grasp of Android app architecture, and is passionate about building high-quality, performant mobile applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android mobile applications with a strong focus on Kotlin development.
• Code, test, and debug mobile applications to meet product specifications.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of mobile applications.
• Identify and resolve application defects and issues promptly.
• Use AI-based coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to improve development speed and productivity.
• Stay up to date with Android development trends and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
• Optimize mobile applications for performance, speed, and responsiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in Android mobile application development.
• Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Strong understanding of Android app architecture and MVVM design pattern.
• Familiarity with Android SDK, Android Studio, and Jetpack libraries.
• Strong experience with RESTful APIs and integration for media-rich features.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Good English communication skills.
