Software Engineer I - Backend Leaning FullStack

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer I (Backend / Full Stack) on the App Components Team, you will build and scale the systems that power the Enterprise Studio experience. You will design distributed systems, build scalable backend services, APIs, and data models, while contributing to React and React Native code to deliver polished end-to-end product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Python and Golang to support complex enterprise data modeling.
• Contribute to systems operating at scale using technologies such as Kafka, Flink, and AWS.
• Write high-quality React and React Native code to ship end-to-end features and intuitive UI components.
• Take ownership of product initiatives from problem definition through implementation and technical design.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in thoughtful code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate complex user problems into technically strong components.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Proficiency in building scalable backend services with experience in Python, Django, Golang, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Experience writing and shipping production code in React and React Native, including understanding component lifecycles and state management.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable systems and reason through trade-offs like consistency and performance.
• Experience building reusable systems, frameworks, or developer-facing components is a plus.
