Software Engineer I - Backend Leaning FullStack

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer I (Backend / Full Stack) on the App Components Team, you will be responsible for building and scaling the systems that power the Enterprise Studio experience. While your primary focus will be on the backend, this is a truly full-stack role where you will design distributed systems and contribute to React and React Native code to deliver polished end-to-end product experiences.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend services using Python and Golang to support complex enterprise data modeling.
• Contribute to systems operating at scale using technologies such as Kafka, Flink, and AWS.
• Write high-quality React and React Native code to ship end-to-end features and intuitive UI components.
• Take ownership of product initiatives from problem definition through implementation.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in thoughtful code reviews.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to translate complex requirements into seamless user experiences.

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional software engineering experience building production systems.
• Proficiency in building scalable backend services.
• Experience with Python, Django, Golang, MongoDB, and AWS is highly preferred.
• Comfortable writing and shipping production code in React and React Native.
• Ability to design scalable, reliable systems and reason through trade-offs like consistency and performance.
• Strong communication skills and ability to navigate ambiguity.
