QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Passionate, Results-oriented, Tech Savvy QA Engineer to be a part of the QA COE group in India. You will work with software development peers, subject matter experts, and Networking experts to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop, extend, execute, and analyze regression, functional, and performance test plans and automation for our products and appliances
• Identify, setup, test, and troubleshoot permutations of software, hardware, and network configurations
• Develop and extend scripts, programs, and other tools to implement test automation
• Document and track your work and participate in code and design reviews
• Interpret directions and work independently to ensure work is accomplished in a timely manner consistent with software quality assurance best practices

Requirements

• BTech/BS/MTech/MS in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
• 2+ years of Professional Software experience with a focus on System and Software QA in an Agile environment
• Strong understanding of cloud (OCI/AWS/Azure) technologies
• Automation/programming experience in Python and/or Playwright/Selenium
• Understanding of product architecture, system internals, strong networking concepts, and L2/L3/L4-L7 protocols
• Understanding of Storage constructs across Cloud and Onprem
• Hands-on background on building testbeds/topologies, troubleshooting issues, and isolating problems

Nice to Have

• Experience with virtualization (ESX/KVM/Hyper-V)
• Experience with Windows, MacOS, and Linux software/application/tools configurations and troubleshooting
• Experience with Atlassian products – Jira, Bamboo, Confluence, Bitbucket
• Understanding of DevOps, distributed systems, CI/CD, and test automation
• Experience using Jenkins and other continuous integration tools in a production environment
• Experience in Agile SDLC
