Software Engineering Intern - SI & Agentic AI Platform

Role Overview

Sanas is pioneering the future of human communication with the world's first real-time speech AI platform. We are hiring four Software Engineering Interns for a four-month, onsite opportunity in Bangalore. Interns will undergo shared onboarding on the Speech Intelligence platform to understand the full lifecycle of calls from desktop to insights, eventually focusing on specific tracks within the SI & Agentic AI Platform.

Responsibilities

• Own scoped tickets end-to-end, including design, coding, testing, and review.
• Work on shipping production SI and Portal features.
• Engage with real production incidents, metrics, and customer-facing reliability.
• Practice writing technical notes, documentation, and architecture reviews.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BS/MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Solid programming skills in Python, Go, or TypeScript/React.
• Comfort with APIs, data structures, and debugging.
• Curiosity about distributed systems, AI products, or data-heavy backends.
• Clear written communication skills for notes, PRs, and tickets.

Nice to Have

• Experience with message queues like Kafka, Redis, SQL, or analytics databases like ClickHouse.
• Knowledge of LLM prompting, evaluation, regex NLP, or information extraction.
• Cloud basics including AWS S3 and observability tools.
• Prior internship experience or strong personal projects on GitHub.
