Role Overview
DevRel at Sarvam is part engineering, part content, part community. As a Developer Advocate, you are a developer first, building demos, cookbooks, integrations, and technical content that showcase the possibilities of Sarvam's models. You will act as a bridge between developers and the engineering team, using empathy to identify friction and drive product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Build cookbook recipes and demos including voice agents, multilingual RAG, and document AI using Sarvam APIs with "Open in Colab" notebooks.
- Create technical content such as blog posts, tutorials, and quickstarts, and present them via talks, livestreams, and videos.
- Ship integrations with platforms like LiveKit, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Vercel AI SDK, and Pipecat.
- Improve SDK and documentation developer experience by shipping fixes to the Python SDK and TypeScript adapter.
- Track and monitor SDK installs, cookbook usage, and integration adoption to surface actionable insights.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience as a software engineer, developer advocate, or in a technical content role with real code shipped to users.
- Strong proficiency in Python and ideally TypeScript.
- A public body of work (projects, repos, blogs, or talks) that demonstrates your ability to build and communicate.
- Genuine interest in Large Language Models (LLMs), speech, and translation, particularly for Indian languages.
- Exceptional technical writing and teaching skills for documentation, tutorials, and public speaking.
- Ability to work autonomously and ship polished results in a fast-paced environment.
