Role Overview

Schemes Book is a growing technology-focused organization dedicated to building engaging, user-friendly digital products. This is a full-time remote role for a React Native Intern. The intern will assist in building and maintaining mobile applications, working closely with developers and designers to implement features, fix bugs, and optimize performance in an environment that emphasizes innovation and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Write clean and reusable code using React Native.
• Implement new features and optimize application performance.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and JSON for data integration.
• Participate in code reviews and test app functionality across different devices.
• Document technical work and collaborate via online communication tools.
• Learn best practices in mobile app development and version control.

Requirements

• Basic experience with React Native or React.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Familiarity with mobile UI components, layout, and styling libraries like Flexbox or styled-components.
• Experience using Git for collaborative development.
• Ability to debug issues and follow documented workflows.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
