QA Engineer II-Manual

Role Overview

At Astrochat (from the house of People Group), we're building a trusted platform that helps millions seek guidance, clarity, and meaningful conversations through astrology. As a QA Manual Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring every feature we ship is reliable, intuitive, and delivers a seamless experience across our web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test plans based on business requirements
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through closure
• Perform Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Exploratory Testing
• Test features across web and mobile applications to ensure a smooth user experience
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to deliver high-quality releases
• Maintain testing documentation and provide clear test execution reports

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Manual QA / Software Testing
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and the Software Testing Life Cycle
• Hands-on experience in creating and executing test cases and test plans
• Experience with Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and Exploratory Testing
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Experience testing responsive web and mobile applications
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality products
