Job Description
Role Overview
This is a remote, unpaid internship requiring 15 to 20 hours per week for one semester or summer. The position must be taken for college credit. The intern will work independently on various digital and print design projects, with the potential for part-time employment based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist in transferring legacy magazine content to a new online blog, including content design and SEO basics.
- Assist in the redesign of the Girl Plus Book website to align with Shelfmediagroup.com.
- Create social media design templates and manage all brand platforms.
- Update print and online sell sheets.
- Design promotional pieces for book contests and create advertisements for upcoming issues.
Requirements
- Must be able to receive college credit for the internship.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Must submit a resume and a portfolio link.
