QA / Test Engineering Intern

Role Overview

SHELY is building a women's and family health platform for India, covering cycle and pregnancy tracking, telehealth, records, and tools for clinics, labs, and pharmacies. This QA / Test Engineering Intern role is designed for engineering students and recent graduates to work on a live codebase, ensuring software quality by finding bugs before they reach patients.

Responsibilities

• Click through real user journeys and document precisely what breaks
• Write automated browser tests with Playwright
• Verify data integrity between the UI and the backend
• Build a regression suite to prevent recurring bugs

Requirements

• Basic programming knowledge in any language (ability to read and edit scripts)
• Patience and a high attention to detail
• Clear written English for high-quality bug reporting
• Must have your own laptop and a stable internet connection

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Postman
• Interest in software quality metrics
