Job Description
Role Overview
As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for managing cloud resources, ensuring server stability, and maintaining secure, high-performing digital environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage Digital Ocean Droplets, networking, storage, and cloud resources.
- Deploy and configure Linux servers and web applications.
- Monitor server performance, uptime, CPU, memory, and disk usage.
- Configure firewalls, SSH access, SSL certificates, and security controls.
- Manage DNS, domains, load balancing, and networking where required.
- Perform server updates, backups, and routine maintenance.
- Troubleshoot application, server, and connectivity issues.
- Support CI/CD deployments and basic DevOps processes.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and configuration records.
- Assist with scaling and optimizing cloud resources based on business requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with Digital Ocean or similar cloud platforms.
- Good knowledge of Linux administration.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSH, and firewalls.
- Experience with Git and basic CI/CD concepts.
- Familiarity with Docker is an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
