Software Development Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Java Full stack Developer to join our team in Bangalore. You will be heavily involved with design and product teams to understand needs, propose features, create early prototypes, and transform them into exciting experiences. You will design new, secure, and reliable features that drive the best customer experience while integrating information between multiple services.

Responsibilities

• Design new, secure, and reliable features to drive customer experience.
• Integrate information between multiple services.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit tests, logs, and metrics adhering to industry best practices.
• Deep dive into client or server systems to optimize for performance, maintainability, and extensibility.
• Identify feature enhancement opportunities and work with multiple services end to end.
• Work alongside other engineers to deliver solutions and provide updates to leadership.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs and production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of Full stack development experience including frontend and backend applications.
• Experience designing or architecting systems using design patterns, reliability, and scaling principles.
• Experience with the full software development life cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Ability to communicate proactively with stakeholders and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take full ownership of tasks.
