Software Engineer (C++/DS/Algorithm)

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software solutions using C and C++ with a focus on design patterns, data structures, and algorithms
• Work with Hardware Description Languages including Verilog, System Verilog, and VHDL to create robust EDA tools
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to understand customer needs and deliver solutions
• Contribute to code quality through peer reviews and consistency to guidelines
• Participate in technical discussions and share knowledge with team members
• Support the development and maintenance of EDA software across multiple platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• At least 2 years of Industry experience with proficiency in C or C++
• Strong understanding of Data Structures and Algorithms
• Working knowledge of at least one Hardware Description Language: Verilog, VHDL, or SystemVerilog
• Analytical and problem-solving skills with effective communication abilities

Nice to Have

• Experience with scripting languages
• Hands-on experience with version control systems such as Perforce
• Understanding of gate-level digital logic design
• Experience in EDA software development
• Experience with parallel algorithms or job distribution
