Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer with 1+ years of experience in software testing to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Manual and Automation Testing along with a basic understanding of the Stock Market. Knowledge of the Stock Market is a preferred requirement for this role.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test cases for software applications.
- Perform Manual Testing including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Perform and maintain Automation Testing for application features and workflows.
- Identify, document, track, and follow up on software defects.
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to understand requirements and resolve issues.
- Perform retesting and regression testing after bug fixes and new releases.
- Participate in test planning and contribute to improving overall software quality.
- Maintain proper documentation of test cases, test results, and defects.
- Ensure applications meet functional, usability, and quality requirements.
- Participate in release validation and provide feedback on product quality.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience in Software Testing or QA.
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing.
- Basic hands-on experience in Automation Testing.
- Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
- Knowledge of test case preparation and defect life cycle.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with development and product teams.
