Role Overview

DETARA LTD is seeking a motivated and talented Shopify Developer to join our growing e-commerce team in Surat. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our online presence, responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining our Shopify storefront to deliver an exceptional shopping experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a fresher or recent intern with a strong foundational knowledge of Shopify to gain hands-on industry experience and grow with a dynamic company.

Responsibilities

• Shopify Store Development: Customize and maintain the Shopify website to align with brand identity. Implement design updates, enhancements, and new features to improve user experience.
• App Integration: Evaluate, select, and integrate third-party Shopify apps and plugins.
• E-commerce Functionality: Build and manage product pages, collections, and navigation menus. Optimize checkout flows and payment gateways.
• Backend & Theme Customization: Write and maintain clean Shopify Liquid code for dynamic content. Collaborate with designers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough cross-device and cross-browser testing to ensure fast loading speeds and full mobile responsiveness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Understanding of responsive web design principles and e-commerce UI/UX best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and high attention to detail.
• Must be currently residing in Surat or willing to relocate immediately.
