Odoo Developer

Role Overview

Tecfuge Business Solutions LLP is a technology solutions company based in Kozhikode, Kerala, specializing in Odoo ERP solutions. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Odoo Developer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, maintaining, and supporting Odoo applications based on business and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Odoo modules based on business requirements.
• Develop new Odoo modules and enhance existing functionalities.
• Customize Odoo workflows, views, reports, and business processes.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external APIs.
• Develop and maintain APIs and system integrations.
• Analyze technical requirements and implement appropriate solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Odoo technical issues.
• Optimize code and improve system performance.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases.
• Handle Odoo version upgrades and migration-related activities.
• Conduct testing and debugging of developed solutions.
• Collaborate with Functional Consultants to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation for custom developments.
• Provide technical support and resolve client-reported issues.
• Stay updated with the latest Odoo versions, technologies, and development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in Odoo development.
• Strong knowledge of Python.
• Good understanding of the Odoo framework and ORM.
• Experience in Odoo module development and customization.
• Good knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of XML, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with Odoo models, views, access rights, security rules, and workflows.
• Knowledge of Odoo APIs and third-party integrations.
• Familiarity with Git/version control systems.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice to Have

• Experience working with multiple Odoo versions.
• Experience in Odoo migration and version upgrades.
• Knowledge of REST API development and integrations.
• Experience with third-party application integrations.
• Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu environments.
• Knowledge of OWL and modern Odoo frontend development.
• Experience developing complex business workflows and custom modules.
