SDE Intern

Role Overview

Smart Interviews is on a mission to bring quality education and the right opportunities to students from tier 2 and tier 3 engineering colleges. We are looking for a star performer to join us as an SDE Intern to help bridge the skill gap and build strong careers through real-world training and mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive and user-friendly web applications using the MEAN/MERN technology stack.
• Build reusable frontend components using Angular or React.js.
• Develop RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
• Work with MongoDB to design and manage databases.
• Collaborate with the development team during feature planning, implementation, and testing.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance.
• Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and best practices.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Learn and implement new technologies as required by the project.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
• Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with React.js or Angular.
• Basic knowledge of Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and asynchronous programming.
• Familiarity with Git and version control.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and willingness to learn.
• Knowledge on AWS services like EC2 and S3.

Preferred Qualifications

• B.Tech graduate.
• 2025 or 2026 graduates (or students eligible for a 6-month internship).
• Experience with personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions is an added advantage.
