Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for a Flutter Developer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in building scalable cross-platform mobile applications. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Smart Node’s mobile applications used for controlling IoT-based home automation devices. This role involves working closely with firmware, cloud, and hardware teams to ensure seamless communication between the mobile application and smart devices deployed at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Smart Node’s mobile application using Flutter for web, Android and iOS platforms
- Integrate mobile applications with IoT devices via REST APIs, WebSockets, MQTT, or BLE/Wi-Fi protocols
- Work on real-time state synchronization between app UI and physical device state
- Collaborate with backend team for API integrations and ERP-linked automation workflows
- Participate in app architecture decisions, modularization, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve application-level bugs arising from device connectivity issues
- Ensure application reliability in low-network or intermittent Wi-Fi environments
- Manage app releases on Google Play Store and Apple App Store
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Flutter and Dart
- Strong understanding of mobile app architecture (MVC / MVVM / Clean Architecture)
- Experience in REST API integration and JSON parsing
- Familiarity with state management tools such as GetX and Provider, Riverpod, or Bloc
- Understanding of asynchronous programming and socket communication
- Knowledge of Git version control
