Role Overview
At Smowcode, we develop the Smow coding language and its Studio, allowing users to code via a graphical language and seamlessly upload it to processor/controller chips. Our technology serves the Automation and IoT industries, including our Smowcode For Education programme for engineering students.
Responsibilities
- Build reusable codes and libraries for microcontrollers such as ARM, AVR, and Xtensa.
- Test and debug C language codes with various external peripherals.
- Work with networking protocols and JSON to enable internet connectivity in microcontrollers.
- Setup toolchains like ESP-IDF and AVR-GCC.
- Debug faults in microcontroller development boards (PCBs).
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C language and basic Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA).
- Experience in creating microcontroller-based IoT/Automation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of microcontrollers and internal peripherals.
- Knowledge of protocols such as UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Knowledge of IoT protocols like HTTP and MQTT.
- PCB troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment using Agile methodologies.
