Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer specializing in Level 2 Industrial Automation. This role involves building, delivering, and supporting enterprise-grade applications within industrial environments. The position requires a professional capable of working in client-facing capacities and potentially traveling to remote plant sites for commissioning assignments.
Responsibilities
- Write, explain, and debug production application code using .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- Develop and maintain Windows Services, ASP.NET applications, and REST APIs.
- Design and manage database schemas, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Support enterprise-grade applications in industrial or manufacturing domains.
- Travel to remote plant sites for onsite commissioning for durations of 4 to 6 weeks.
Requirements
- B.Tech, B.E., or equivalent degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on software development experience with C# and .NET.
- Practical experience with SQL Server or Oracle (schema design, stored procedures, and triggers).
- Experience in building or supporting enterprise-grade applications.
- Willingness to work in person in Kolkata and travel to remote industrial locations.
