Civil Engineering Intern

Role Overview

We're looking for a Civil Engineering Intern to help us structure and document our construction services. This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the founder to break down how we build into clearly defined work items, understand what goes into each one, and turn that knowledge into a system.

Responsibilities

• Break down residential construction into a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), covering everything from civil works to finishes and external works
• Document individual work items: scope, materials, specifications, process, inclusions, exclusions, and quality considerations
• Identify which construction activities can be offered as standalone services, beyond their role within larger projects
• Research construction methods, materials, products, and specifications where required
• Contribute to the creation of our company services brochure and individual service sheets
• Work closely with the founder and ask questions, challenge assumptions, and help improve how we define and deliver our services

Requirements

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Based in or able to work in-person in Goa
• Interested in understanding how buildings are actually constructed
• Organized and highly detail-oriented
• Comfortable researching and learning independently
• Able to understand technical information and explain it clearly
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and basic documentation tools
• A clear, direct communicator
• Basic AutoCAD knowledge is a plus
• Architecture/design sensibility is a plus, but not essential
