Embedded QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an Embedded QA Engineer to join the Adobe Print & Scan team in Noida. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of embedded software that powers print and scan functionality in devices.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive manual and automated test cases for embedded product features.
• Perform Black Box and White Box testing to validate functionality and product quality.
• Identify, reproduce, troubleshoot, and document software defects.
• Develop and execute automation scripts using Python and/or Shell/Bash.
• Contribute to increasing and maintaining overall test automation coverage.
• Analyze requirements and participate in product and development discussions to identify potential quality risks.
• Work closely with developers and product teams to validate new features and ensure compatibility with existing functionality.
• Aggregate test results and communicate findings, defects, and quality observations.
• Apply testing best practices to improve overall product quality and release readiness.

Requirements

• Strong software testing fundamentals and ability to independently design detailed test scenarios.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Python and/or Shell/Bash scripting.
• Good understanding of Operating Systems and computer fundamentals, including memory and resource management.
• Hands-on experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
