Software Engineer - Java Fullstack

Role Overview

As a Software Engineer within the global finance technology team in the Investment Banking division, you will deliver features for a Product in a business chain. Working as a member of a Feature Team, you will operate with autonomy and a continuous improvement approach, contributing to application development, maintenance, and delivery using high-end technologies.

Responsibilities

• Guarantee best practice and quality of the code for the whole team.
• Organize, optimize, and industrialize the development process.
• Propose technical solutions and participate in the construction of technical infrastructure.
• Ensure technological watch and demonstrate interest in the Compliance business.
• Work within agile practices including Scrum, Kanban, DevOps, and pair programming.
• Collaborate with POs and Business Analysts to divide user requirements into user stories.
• Participate in the development of the technical culture through craftsmanship and code reviews.

Requirements

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Primary expertise in Core Java (Version >=1.7) and the Spring ecosystem (Core, MVC, Data, JPA, Transaction Management, Security, AOP, Spring Batch & SpringBoot).
• Strong knowledge of JDBC, DB concepts, ORM (Hibernate), and PL/SQL procedures.
• Experience with SOA/Microservices (REST, SOAP) and application servers like Tomcat or Weblogic.
• Experience building REST based Web APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) using JUnit and Behavioral Driven Development (BDD).
• Prior experience with CI/CD tools such as Maven, Git, and Jenkins.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in an agile or DevOps framework.
