Software Engineer

Role Overview

As an Open Source Developer Advocate, you will act as a bridge between the open-source community and the organization. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing open-source solutions to drive innovation, reduce costs by migrating from licensed software, and raise awareness of open-source opportunities across the group.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop open-source solutions aligned with business needs.
• Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) for technology-agnostic solutions.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to implement open-source migrations and reduce licensing costs.
• Develop migration kits to facilitate smoother transitions for developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues within open-source technologies.
• Drive innovation and act as a developer advocate to build relationships with the open-source community.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with various open-source technologies, platforms, and software.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to gather requirements and propose effective open-source solutions.
• Experience in building POCs and driving technological innovation.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
