Job Description
Role Overview
The ideal candidate for this position will have a very strong understanding of software development focusing on delivering a software product with high code quality. You will work within an Agile environment to deliver complex requirements through meticulous design, coding, and testing.
Responsibilities
- Understand functional requirements and raise clarifications with BAs and stakeholders
- Provide high-level and detailed technical estimates
- Provide technical design and implement complex requirements
- Participate in Agile practices including daily scrum, iteration planning, and retrospectives
- Meticulously review design, test cases, and code
- Perform coding, unit testing, and integration testing
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in C#, WCF, and WPF
- Strong .Net fundamentals and threading concepts
- Working knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase (SQL & T-SQL/PL SQL)
- Experience in high-level and low-level design using UML & Design Patterns
- Experience with unit testing using MbUnit or NUnit
- Strong fundamentals in Core Programming and Object Oriented design
- Experience in Investment Banking is a big plus
